Getting to the Eagles Parade

Public transit options will be greatly altered Thursday in order to accommodate what could be the city’s largest crowd ever. Use the travel highlights and the map below to plan your trip.

Free rides are available on the Market-Frankford and Broad Street Lines. Both lines are closing some stations. Trains will run every 5-7 minutes starting at 5 a.m. on Thursday.

Passes are required to ride Regional Rail; tickets will not be accepted. Independence Day Passes are sold out.

• Regional Rail will have limited station stops, and travel to Center City will only be available via Jefferson and 30th Street Stations. Trains will only run into Center City in the morning, and will only run out of the city in the afternoon and evening. For the return trip, the same Center City station as your departure must be used.

• Lines arriving and departing from Jefferson Station only include: Chestnut Hill East, Fox Chase, Lansdale/Doylestown, Warminster, and West Trenton. Lines arriving and departing from 30th Street Station only include: Media/Elwyn, Paoli/Thorndale, Trenton, Wilmington/Newark, and Aiport.

• All trolley and Norristown High Speed Line stations will be open and operate at normal fares.

• PATCO will run on a modified schedule and close several stations. Tickets for Thursday are sold out. Trains will only run into Center City in the morning, and will only run out of the city in the afternoon and evening.
